Preparation
- 400 ml blackcurrant juice
- 250 ml orange juice (without pulp)
- 200 ml tea (black)
- 150 ml gin
- 50 g sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 star anise
- 4 cloves
- 4 juniper berries
- some orange zest
- some tonka bean (grated, or 1 packet of sugar flavored with tonka bean)
Preparation
Step 1
Boil water and steep the black tea for a maximum of 2 minutes.
Mix the juices and sugar in a pot and add the spices (preferably in a tea infuser so they can be easily removed).
Step 2
Simmer the mixture gently for about 10–15 minutes.
Remove the spice bag.
Add the tea and gin.
Let it steep briefly.
Step 3
Divide into cups or mugs and garnish with a slice of orange or a cinnamon stick.
