Thursday, 3 September
Show us your traditional Moselle outfit! Whether you’re wearing a Moselblümchen or a Winzerkittel – everyone who comes to the wine festival dressed in traditional attire can look forward to a little gift and a ticket for the prize draw later in the day.
Reception of the Mosella
Friday, 4 September
Experience the festive reception of the Mosella on the historic market square in Bernkastel-Kues. Look forward to the Bernkasteler Bürgerwehr, the Landshuter Ritterschaft, the medieval group and the local music association, as well as more than 20 wine royalty representatives from the surrounding communities.
The wine festival message will then be announced, followed by the festive reception of the Mosella, the Wine Queen of Bernkastel-Kues, on her festival float.
Spectacular Fireworks
Saturday, 5 September
A true highlight of the wine festival awaits you on Saturday evening: For almost half an hour, spectacular fireworks will light up the sky above the Moselle. Find a cosy spot along the Moselle riverbank in Kues, sit back and enjoy the magical display above the river.
New: “Sparkling & Snack” – Sparkling Wine Breakfast along the Wine Route
Sunday, 5 September
Start your Sunday the relaxed way! From 11 am to 1 pm, five wine stands and three food stands along the Wine Route invite you to stroll from one stop to the next. Discover the variety of the Middle Moselle, taste regional wines and delicious bites, and enjoy a relaxed sparkling wine breakfast.
Grand Parade
Sunday, 6 September
Sunday afternoon is all about colour and celebration! From 2 pm, the grand parade with numerous groups from Germany and abroad winds its way through the historic old town and across the Moselle Bridge to Kues. Look forward to colourful floats, music and a festive atmosphere all along the route!

How to get there
For your journey to and from the festival, we recommend using the Moselbahn and travelling comfortably by public transport. Alternatively, you can take a taxi or travel by car. Please note that access roads and parking options may be restricted during the wine festival due to road closures and other traffic restrictions.

Experience the fireworks on the Moselle
Experience the spectacular wine festival fireworks from a truly unique perspective! The boat departs directly from the landing stage in Rachtig, right in front of our hotel, and takes you to Bernkastel. From the Moselle, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the fireworks and round off the evening in a relaxed atmosphere on the water.
