The route leads along scenic hillsides and through tranquil forests with varied views from the picturesque old town of Bernkastel-Kues to the idyllic wine village of Ürzig.
There are refreshment stops along the way in Zeltingen-Rachtig and in the former Cistercian monastery of Machern. Shortly before Zeltingen-Rachtig, you can also visit the Zeltingen variety garden, where exotic and forgotten local fruit and vegetable varieties are grown. Numerous detours through shady forest passages and along grassy paths along the edge of the slope not only provide variety, but also offer fantastic views of the Mosel valley.
