The ruins of Landshut Castle tower high above the town of Bernkastel-Kues. It is one of the oldest structures along the entire Moselle River and is among the most popular excursion destinations in the region. After many years of renovation, the castle reopened its gates in 2017 and can now be explored via a barrier-free circular path.
A visit is highly recommended, especially because the view of the picturesque Moselle Valley is truly fascinating.
